Afro Kinky Butterfly Locs – Hair used for soft buns and how to get the look July 9, 2020 – Posted by: Faux Locs:

Soft Locs is the term used to describe those that are, you know, soft. To achieve the style, use natural braids with loose hair. The woven blocks will be placed individually to create false blocks. The soft parts are usually very long, 30 to 36 inches. They are usually longer than the thigh.

Before the evolution of soft lock, when people made fake blocks, they were usually hard and strong. The term can be used to describe either false crochet, which is usually soft in nature, or false crochet cuffs, which are not stiff.

These new softer artificial blocks are designed to move from day one of installation. They have no stiffness and are tension free due to their soft nature. While it’s unclear when the term first appeared or who first coined it, it’s certainly making waves in the fake local world.

There are several different ways to create tension-free blocks that are flat. The key to achieving this type of coverage is the type of hair used. I would like to separate this softer fake hair into two parts, the base of the hairspray, which is the base, wraps and curls the hair. As I will cover throughout this blog post.

The hair used to make soft bows was initially teased as a closely guarded secret. While Instagram and YouTube lovers play Blue Tracks trying to figure out which hair to wear. With a lot of people willing to pay a hairdresser for this secret.

There is nothing wrong with trying to get information to create the exact look that a stylist will create. But if you want to create these blocks yourself and make them your own, it’s best to experiment with different hairs.

Crochet Soft Locs can be used as a base for locs. These locomotives are a great base because you can get a sleek locomotive look without having to wrap your hair all the way up. You can have messy roots without curling your entire hair, saving time. This look is quite popular online as you get a bohemian faux loc look with little effort.

There are 3 ways to use your crocheted locomotives as plush locomotives, which I will cover in detail.

The first option is to use your own hair to wrap the braid over the base. This will give a faux loc look while still having soft locs. Wendy from F aux Locs in London did this faux bob look as well as a long, soft brown look (using our 23″ – 24″ long braided faux locs in chocolate brown ombre 1B/30). He untied the bulb and wrapped it tightly around the roots. The key to maintaining this tension-free relaxation is to not wrap the roots too tightly, but not too loosely. Be like gold glitter and do it right.

A second option is to wrap the braid around the hair at the roots to create a distressed look. This will include using a passion curl water wave hair curler or curling exhausted hair. I did a tutorial on this using long braided locks as a base and passion twist water wave hair to wrap my bun at the roots. My tutorial is easy to follow and suitable for beginners. An alternative to this is to wrap the throat blocks all the way down. Which is more likely to make you look anxious. I will talk more about this in the next section. These blocks are also considered soft blocks because they are not hard, but have more of a faux-lock look and usually have a distressed texture.

This is my go-to hairstyle to create a soft look. Every stylist has their preferences, but I love this type of hair for a soft wrap. Simply because depending on how you wrap it, you can get different looks. Can be used as a base and/or wrap hair for fluffy heads using braided heads, braided hair or marley hair as a base.

You can use it to make soft distressed blocks for use in wrapping. Or, if it’s tightly coiled, you can use them to create traditional soft faux braids, but they’ll still have a softer feel than marley or kanekalon hair. Pictured above, we see @TooAliyah use curly hair to create messy buns wrapped around her hair in braided buns.

Also, this hair is easier to use than water wave hair. Because it hugs the hair once it’s tangled, it’s less likely to fall out. I would recommend this hair type for both beginners and professionals. Think of it as soft curly marley hair. So you have that kinky wave, but without the harsh texture. Since it is quite curly, it may seem shorter at first, but the hair is quite long.

In the past, people only used water wave hair for braids and passion twists. Hair usually has a smoother, less messy texture than coiled hair. To create more texture with this hair, you may need to wrap the hair more than once for layering if that’s the look you’re going for.

If you have experience with curling fake locks, prefer a less textured look, or just want to learn how to use this hair. Then check out my hair tutorial above because I found a method that can easily use this hair in your braided braids.

Can marley hair be used for soft scalp? The answer is yes and no, depending on whether other hairs are used and the wrapping method. Using marl hair as a base and wrapping your hair for soft buns may not work if they are wrapped tightly like you would normally do with soft fake hair buns. Hair is likely to be stiff and unmovable for a few days.

To get fluffy marley hair heads, use marley hair as a base and other wrap hairs to get them. Or mix some marley hair with other braided hair. Bow ties are gaining more and more popularity these days, and no wonder. This protective hairstyle keeps your natural hair healthy and safe in place of synthetic, thus preventing problems like dryness, frizz, split ends and many more. Plus, compared to other similar styles, it’s relatively easy to achieve. If you want to learn how to create a butterfly hairstyle in different ways, as well as get inspiration for the look, our guide is just what you need.

Butterfly locks are a popular protective hairstyle among women with curly hair. They are close relatives of the restless loco as well as the false loco. However, unlike the above styles, butterfly hair includes curly bonds. This feature makes them look like a butterfly, hence the name. Jungle braids also have bows. But they look much cleaner and require a different weaving technique.

The butterfly dreadlock hairstyle looks like a fusion of passion twists and goddess locks, taking the best of both styles. Its slightly messy finish gives it a relaxed look with a touch of boho chic. In addition, it is quite easy to maintain, which is one of the reasons why it is so popular today.

Butterfly hairstyles can be roughly grouped into two categories: those that are the same length as your natural hair and those that are longer. For layers that are the same length as your hair, add 22-28 inches on water wave hair. You should get six to eight boxes. Since it has curls that bounce easily, you will be able to achieve the desired effect without any problems.

Hair fillers will allow you to create bumps that exceed your natural hair length. Wavy hair, however, will also work well. The only stipulation is that you must get multiple packages, not short bow boats. Marley hair is another option you can use for long buns. It can easily be woven into your hair strands.
