Using the plate and wrap method enables you to create locks in all kinds of colors. The blonde variations are the most popular, but I love the texture of Mason’s colored hair. They are beautiful 😍!
Currently, there are only a few brands that are selling pre-locked butterfly locs, namely Janet Collection, Tuyotrace and Nesio. But as this style grows in popularity, there will definitely be more players and options in the market. I personally prefer the crochet method because it’s a huge time saver – you don’t have to braid and wrap. Like cornice and crochet.
