Well, many men wore mullets in the 80s! They are everywhere. Some are higher than others. In the picture above, for example, Patrick Swayze’s mullet is lighter, Rob Lowe’s is kind of in the middle, and then John Stamos really goes in the middle. Some other famous men who have “dipped” the mulatto are George Clooney, Kurt Russell, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Andre Agassi.

The rocker image is about loud and long, and is almost exclusively used by real rock bands. Has anyone used this feature in everyday life? This one is more suspicious, but it’s definitely a tie between Tommy Lee, Jon Bon Jovi and Axl Rose as you can see in the picture above.

Of course, if you’re more into a different, gothic style, instead of the traditional rocker style, you might go for punk rock. While hair is an important part of the punk look, the rest of the outfit is even more so. Lots of skins, as you can see in the photo above with Billy Idol, Sid Vicious and a member of the punk band Vice Squad. Hair is usually curly and often colored.
When you think of curly hair, you no doubt think of Farrah Fawcett’s luscious locks in the ’70s. But the 80s continued to go on, and people joined the struggle with long hair. Mel Gibson is full of pen, but Brad Pitt and James Spader are more relaxed about it, and in some ways are walking in the land of eels. It’s a fine line, really.
The Jheri Curl was very popular in the ’80s, thanks to stars like Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie sporting the look. As you can see, they inspired people like Jamie Foxx to ditch the ‘do in high school. The style was everywhere in the 80s – Jackson started wearing a long style in the decade that looked like a mulatto. Everything is connected!

Most lists looking at celebrity hairstyles from the ’80s seem to forget the rat tail, and we don’t blame them. But we present it here to remind you that this is a feature that should not be returned to anyone. If you are young and coming up in the ’80s, this look is for you. This hair is permanent, because it does not interact with a person in a decade like other models. In the 80s, many young men sported this classy look, including Johnny Depp, River Phoenix and Christian Slater pictured above.

Yes, the headband was definitely in style in the ’80s – whether it was a bandana-type, scarf, or something more practical to keep the sweat off your face. Rockers are known for wearing their rocker hairstyles, like Jon Bon Jovi and Bret Michaels pictured above. Tennis player Andre Agassi always wears a headband on court, a complete look with his long flowing hair.
As we said, the 80s are about size. If you have straight hair, you need to make sure that you have a product and make it voluminous. Although many people do this with long hair, it is not necessary, as you can see in the picture above. George Michael, David Hasselhoff and Ted Danson have also added to their locks.
