Now let’s talk style! I started with clean, damp and detangled hair. Then I started combing my hair. I created a center part in the back and a small section of hair in the front that falls on the lower left side of her head. Then I started doing freestyle cornrowing like I do a mohawk. I didn’t continue with the braid until I finished. When I got to the middle part, I stopped braiding and left the hair loose. That loose hair later grew into a large pattern that started at the nape of the neck and continued to the front of the head. The corn was then folded into a rosette and secured in place. I also used the remaining hair on the left side to make more corn and two rosettes.
