And if done well, thread hairstyles can be very good protective hairstyles and can be kept for 3 weeks or more.
Which thread can be used for hair styling? I get asked the same question when I do strand hairstyles. Well, really any thread and any color for that matter. I mostly use 3-ply yarn, which is commonly used for jersey knitting and Brazilian wool. Both have their pros and cons but that’s a post for another day.
